In 2021, Jessie Lee, an adorable Australian cattle dog from Colorado, went missing from her home for two weeks. After being found on a ledge 150 feet above a creek,
Jessie Lee was safely rescued, and returned home thanks to her I.D. tag.
10 million pets become lost each year, and only 10% of pets without identification make it back home. 90% of pets with tags make it back to their owners, and Jessie Lee is one of them.
Having a tag is a way to keep pets safe, and also an opportunity to make them identifiable with style.
VetScribe tags go the extra mile by being fully customizable, from shape to color to favorite licenses (check out our sports and pop culture brands here).
Where Do I Start?
With a VetScribe engraving machine in your veterinary clinic or adoption center, your pet parents can design a tag in person using our custom tablet system. Check out this video to see how it works.
Custom Designs
The fun begins from step one, choosing a shape. We have a range of shapes to choose from, including circles, hearts, and military tags.
Creativity can run free by choosing a fun font for each tag. We have four new fonts to choose from: Art Deco, Handwriting, Modern Sans, and Playful Serif.
Interested in a licensed tag? We’re proud to partner with beloved brands including Disney, Peanuts, colleges, and sports teams.
Interested in a licensed tag? We’re proud to partner with beloved brands including Disney, Warner Brothers, NFL and other professional sports.
Licensed tags go the extra mile in customization and drive customer interest, generating more revenue for your practice. A full list of our licenses can be found here.
Rabies Tag Customization
Our rabies tags can be engraved on both sides. Why is this important? By adding a furry friend’s contact information to the back of the rabies tag, it’s easy to keep Spot safe in case of emergency.
This saves calls to your clinic when a good Samaritan finds your lost “pet patient” with only your rabies tag information as a clue to the pet’s owner.
After You’ve Finished Designing
After the design is finalized, the engraving machine goes to work producing a durable, high-quality tag. A tag can be engraved in under a minute.
When the tag is finished, pets can proudly wear their VetScribe tag.
Keeping Pets Safe and People Happy
We know that keeping our furry friends is a team effort, starting with veterinary clinics and adoption centers. A tag can ensure their safety in case a pet wanders far from home. Jessie Lee’s I.D. tag helped her come home as soon as possible, and gave her story a happy ending.
Pets are special members of the family, and a custom tag is a great way to show it. By adding VetScribe to your adoption center or veterinary clinic, you can grow your practice while providing safety measures for your patients and their owners.
All the Best,
Your VetScribe Tag Team
